Hamilton Elementary School's (HES) current campus opened on July 1, 1980 and serves students TK through 8th grade. Our goal is to provide HES students with a compatible curriculum for a world that is increasingly dependent upon science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. Our campus consists of a library, two computer labs, large playground areas (both asphalt and lawn), fenced perimeter and more.

Hamilton Elementary School is located in Hamilton City and serves the communities of Hamilton City, Ord Bend, and Capay. The community of Hamilton City is located ten miles west of Chico in northwestern Glenn County. The primary industries are agricultural related. It offers outdoor activities along the Sacramento River and is in close proximity to Lassen National Park and California State University, Chico.
