Vamos Lobos!

  • I am overjoyed and grateful for the opportunity to work with the students and staff of the Hamilton Unified School District and community. My name is Ulises Tellechea. I have been living and working in the Northstate area for over 23 years. I attended Chico State University where I received my bachelor's degree, teaching credential, and school administrator's credential. I value education and continuous learning and the opportunities it has provided me. For the past 13 years, I have been employed in the Live Oak Unified School District. At Live Oak, I worked as an assistant principal, English development program coordinator, and English development teacher. Prior to working at LOUSD, I taught in a Spanish Dual Immersion classroom in Chico and worked with high-risk students as a counselor in Glenn County and Hamilton City. I am proud of the strong working relationships I built with students, staff and families in my past experiences. As principal of Hamilton Elementary, it is my desire to build positive relationships and provide authentic learning experiences for all students. I will actively serve the school and its community. Let's Go Wolf Pack!
