  • Hamilton High School's (HHS) current campus opened on July 1, 1980 and serves students 9th through 12th grade. We offer a variety of courses for college career readiness, STEM, and CTE to name a few. Our sports program consists of football, baseball, softball, soccer, basketball, cheerleading, track and field, cross country, and wrestling. HHS also has several active clubs such as Academic Decathalon, Associated Student Body (ASB), Boosters, CSF, Future Farmers of America (FFA), Friday Night Live (FNL), MEChA, Students Working Against Tobacco (SWAT), yearbook and more!

    Hamilton High School is located in Hamilton City and serves the communities of Hamilton City, Ord Bend, and Capay. The community of Hamilton City is located ten miles west of Chico in northwestern Glenn County. The primary industries are agricultural related. It offers outdoor activities along the Sacramento River and is in close proximity to Lassen National Park and California State University, Chico.
