- Parent/Teacher Organization
- Click to JOIN PTO Group
- Our PTO members meet every 2nd Tuesday of the month. The meetings are on Zoom and In person (room 306) to accommodate working families.. PTO assists with special events in classrooms, incentives, assisting with field trips, etc.
- School Site Council
- School Site Council meets about 4 times a year. These meetings are help with the school administrator, teachers, staff and open to parents. The council helps give input & guides in budget decisions & goals for our SPSA (School Plan for Student Achievement.)
- Parent Workshops
- These workshops are offered the last Tuesday of each month at 6 PM via Zoom/In-Person. There are different topics available to increase our parent engagement and build a school/home partnership. Topics range from month to month.
- Parent Volunteer Program
- HES has began a Volunteer Program! Parents must attend either of our Fall/Spring Volunteer Workshops in order to be eligible. Parents review their important role in our school and how they can volunteer in the classroom, yard supervision, to attending filed trips as chaperones!
- ELAC/DELAC
- ELAC is a committee for parents or other community members who want to advocate for English Learners. The purpose of ELAC is to advise the principal and school staff on programs and services for English learners
